Student Council

It is the constant endeavour of P. S. Senior Secondary School to mould students into responsible citizens of tomorrow. An important aspect of Indian citizenship is democracy - the power to choose the right people to lead us. Our institution follows a democratic setup in the election of student representatives. Students of Class 12 contest for different posts in the student council elections, such as the School Pupil Leader, Cultural Secretary, Sports Secretary and TFE Editor. Students of classes 9 to 12 elect their representatives by casting their vote to the student leaders. These student leaders form a council of the school that help organise inter, intra competitions - co-curricular and sports such as the Scintillations, as well as the MUN (Model United Nations). TFE (The Fourth Estate) conducts inter school competitions for junior classes “Renaissance” and maintains a TFE board in the science block that showcases the artistic talents of the children across the classes
