GOLDEN JUBILEE ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS AT PS SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL
PS Senior Secondary School celebrated its Golden Jubilee Annual Day at Narada Gana Sabha on August 7 and 8 2026. The two-day event brought together eminent dignitaries, proud alumni, and students.
On day one, the Chief Guest T R Santhana Krishnan, Chairman, Data Tracks, Singapore emphasized handling artificial intelligence with responsibility, understanding, and commitment. He highlighted the role of teachers in shaping the students through character building, an effort that goes a long way in their future. The school Chairman Sri P C Ramakrishna detailed the school's development in his address. The Principal Dr Revathy Parameswaran presented the Annual Report cataloguing the achievements of the academic year 2025-26. The golden Jubilee magazine Panorama was released by the chief guest and the first copy was received by Sri C V Krishnan, Secretary of P S Educational Society.
The Chief Guest on 8th August was Dr J. Radhakrishnan, IAS, Director of Anna Institute of Management and Training. The Guest of Honour was Padmashri Dr. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras and an alumnus of the P S Senior Secondary school.
Dr. J. Radhakrishnan in his address, praised the school's character-building education and urged the students to stay rooted to tradition yet be modern. Dr V Kamakoti shared his school memories, advising students to excel in co-curricular activities besides academics, participate in Olympiads, and reap the best out of their campus opportunities. The Coffee Table Book highlighting the 50 glorious years of the school was released by the Chief Guest and the first copy was received by the Guest of honour Dr V Kamakoti.
Distinguished faculty members received the Vidya Ganapathi award and Long service awards, while the student achievers were honored for excellence in academics and sports. The grand finale featured a spectacular cultural performance titled "Srinivasa Tirukkalyanam." Blending music, dance, and a Tamil play, the vibrant LED backdrops, apt dialogues, melodious music and the graceful dance sequence transported the audience into the ethereal world of Vaikunta, concluding a landmark celebration fit for the books.
49th ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS
The Golden Jubilee Annual Day of P.S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore, was celebrated on 22nd and 23rd August 2023 at Narada Gana Sabha. The Chief Guest on the first day was Dr R Seetharaman, Former CEO, Doha Bank. He gave a very profound speech on how destiny is a matter of choice and the role of discipline in shaping one’s life. The Chairman of the school Sri P C Ramakrishna said that students must fly high, yet always remember their roots. The Principal Dr Smt Revathy Parameswaran read out the Annual Report highlighting the school’s activities, results and events of the academic year that ended.
On 23rd August, The President of PS Education Society Sri K V S Gopalakrishnan addressed the audience and spoke on the importance of our culture and tradition. The Chief Guest was Shri R D Nazeem, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Himachal of Himachal Pradesh, and an alumnus of the school. He recalled with fondness the role the school had played in his formative years. He quoted a few episodes from his school days to show how the overall development of the students was aimed at, as the fundamental purpose of education. He distributed prizes to children who had excelled in academic and co-curricular activities. The school newsletter Mystique was released. The students presented a cultural entertainment on the theme ‘Incredible India’. The programmes were received with great fanfare and enthusiasm by the spectators
48th ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS
The Annual Day Celebrations of our school was organized for 2 days at Narada Gana Sabha.
On 5/8/2024, Dr S Sowmya,Vice-chancellor, The Tamil Nadu Dr J Jayalalitha Music and Fine Arts University and alumnus of our school was the Chief Guest.
On 06/08/2024, Smt K Alamelu,Director,Bharathi Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School and former Principal of our school was the Chief Guest.
The theme of the cultural programme was 'Ramayanam'.
47th ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS
The Annual Day Celebrations of our school was organized for 2 days at Narada Gana Sabha.
On 9/8/2023, Shri. Dinesh Ram, Regional Officer, CBSE Chennai was the Chief Guest.
On 10/08/2023, Shri. Arun Vasu, Chairman & Managing Director, TT Group of Companies and alumnus of our school was the Chief Guest.
The theme of the cultural programme was 'Vasudeiva Kudumbakam'.

42nd ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION
The 42nd Annaul Day of the school was celebrated on the 9th and 10th of August 2018.
On the 10th of August 2018 Swami Bodhamayananda (Director Vivekanada Institute of Human Excellence) was the chief guest. Shri T.S.Krishnamurthy(President, P.S.Educational Society) presided over the function.
Shri G Jagannath a distinguished alumnus of the school was the Guest of Honour.
41st ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION
