English Workshop
A workshop on "Reading comprehension" was conducted by Mrs. V. Jeyalakshmi head of the Eng department , on June 1st, 2023 for all teachers handling English from classes 1 to12 from P.S. Senior Sec. School, Mylapore and P.S. Temple Green, Oragadam for a duration of 2 hrs. The workshop focussed on identifying the right type of passage suited for reading comprehension and on the purpose of setting different types of questions . Sample passages were discussed . Through a group activity, teachers made a few questions for identified passages based on what they had learnt.
On 9th June , a 2 hr workshop on "Writing skills" was conducted by Mrs Jeyalakshmi V, HoD English department to all the teachers in the department. Level specific expected outcomes in writing exercises were discussed in detail. The nuances of expression in writing, achieving fluency were captured. Brainstorming ideas, playway methods can be employed to bring out the best content by organising children into groups. The significance and relevance of writing skills all through one's life was brought out effectively through this workshop.
Competency building Programme for Class X teachers in Tamil 13-11-19
Our school organized a Competency building Programme for Class X teachers in Tamil on 08/11/2019 and 09/11/2019. 59 teachers from different schools in the city participated in the workshop. Dr. E. Bagavathy of our school was one of the resource persons.

Sanskrit Workshop for students 05-10-18
A workshop in communicative Sanskrit was conducted for class X student in our school from 20/09/2018 to 26/09/2018 for 5 days. Speaking in Sanskrit language was taught in an easy manner.
