Annual Sports Day Celebrations
Annual Sports Day 2023 was celebrated on 08/11/2023 at the school premises. Tmt. H Jayalakshmi, SP and Chief Security officer of Chennai Metro Rail Limited, was the Chief Guest.
KG SPORTS DAY was celebrated on 16th October 2023 at the open shed.
Our Principal Dr. Revathy Parameswaran witnessed the sports event.
The event provided an ideal opportunity for children to demonstrate their prowess in various sporting discipline.
The children came in their sports uniform with colour coded caps. LKG students , performed "Jolly Marching " followed by a spectacular drill by UKG students and performed various exercises using " Pom Pom".
The children also participated in a wide range of races like:
'Pick 'n' Pack', obstacle race, hurdle tunnel race and ball gathering race.
Prizes were distributed by our Principal to the winners.
It was a fun filled day for one and all.
Primary Sports Day 2023
The 45th Annual Sports Day of P S Senior Secondary School (Primary Segment) was celebrated on 13 Oct 2023 with a lot of fun and fervour. The event started at 9:30am and took place in the spacious playground of the school. Students of Classes I to VI took part in the event. Sri. Ranganathan Sundaram,the Global Head – Marketing and Ecosystem, Tata Consultancy Services and alsoan alumnus of the school, was the Chief Guest. The Principal, Dr. Revathy Parameswaran delivered the welcome address and introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering.The Chief Guest recalled the times when he was a student and appreciated the development of the opportunities the students have been given today and their achievements at different levels.

SHRI P.C. SEKHAR MEMORIAL CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2019 - 2020
Shri P.C. Sekhar Memorial Cricket Tournament (Under 14 & Under 11 Boys), organized by P.S. Senior Secondary School was conducted from 27th January to 3rd February 2020.The Under 14 tournament was held in Alstom Ground, Pallavaram and Under 11 tournament was in held in P.S. Higher Secondary School ground. The tournament drew participation from 16 top city schools for under 14 boys & 12 top city school teams for under 11 boys. The tournament was inaugurated on Monday 27th January 2020 at P.S. Higher Secondary School ground by Shri.Anand George, Former Tamil Nādu Ranji Trophy Player. The inauguration function was attended by Shri.M.S.Sundara Rajan, Chairman, Dr.K.V.S.Gopalakrishnan, Hony.Secretary & Correspondent, Smt.Dr.Revathy Parameswaran, Principal; PSSSS Alumni and PTA Members were also present during the function.
The Valedictory function was held on 03.02.2020 at 2.30 p.m. Miss. Shebani Mandhakani Baskar, Vice-Captain of USA National Cricket Team, presided over the Valedictory function and distributed the prizes. The Valedictory function was attended by Dr.K.V.S.GopalaKrishnan, Hony.Secretary & Correspondent, Mrs. Dr. Revathy Parameswaran, Principal, Mr.R.Sivakumar, Senior Vice Principal, Mrs.N.Padmasri, Vice Principal, members of Alumni Association and PTA. Nellai Nadar M.H.S, School, Kottivakkam emerged as winners and P.S.Sr.Sec.School was the runner- up in under 14 category. P.S.Sr.Sec.School emerged as winners and Vidya Mandir Sr.Sec.School was the runner- up in under 11 category.

Shri P.C. Sekhar Memorial Cricket Tournament (Under 14 & Under 11 Boys), organized by P.S. Senior Secondary School was conducted from 24th January 2019 to 30th January 2019.Under-11 category tournament has been introduced this year. The Under 14 tournament was held in Alstom Ground, Pallavaram and Under 11 tournament was held in P.S. Higher Secondary School ground. The tournament drew participation from 16 top city schools for Under 14 boys & 12 top city school teams for Under 11 boys. The tournament was inaugurated on Thursday 24th January 2019 at P.S. Higher Secondary School grounds by Shri. S. Sarath, former Indian A team player. The inauguration function was attended by Shri. Vaidyanathan, Chairman, Dr. K.V.S. Gopalakrishnan, Secretary, P.S. Educational Society, Shri. R. Sivakumar, Hony.Secy & Correspondent, Smt. Dr. Revathy Parameswaran, Principal., Smt. Padmasri, Vice Principal, PSSSS Alumni and PTA Members were also present during the function.
The valedictory function was held on 30.01.2019 at 2.30pm Shri.A. Aswin Crist, TN Ranji Trophy & INDIAN U-23 cricket player presided over the valedictory function and distributed the prizes. The valedictory function was attended by Dr.K.V.S. Gopalakrishnan, Secretary P.S. Educational Society, Smt. Dr. Revathy Parameswaran, Principal, Smt. Padmasri, Vice Principal, members of Alumni Association and PTA. St. Patricks Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Adyar emerged winners and Chettinad Vidyashram was the runners up in the under-14 category.

Shri C.V.Narasimhan Memorial Invitational Inter - School Futsal Tournament (under 16 boys) was conducted in our school campus, on 23rd August 2018. The event was inaugurated by Dr. K.V.S Gopalakrishnan, Secretary, and P.S.Educational Society. Our Correspondent, Shri R.Sivakumar, Principal Dr. Revathy Parameswaran, Senior vice Principal Shri. R.Sivakumar, were also present on the Occasion. Shri V.M.P Hariprasad, Assistant Secretary, Chennai Football Association were the Chief Guest for the Valedictory function.

Shri. C.V.Narasimhan Memorial Invitational Inter-School Futsal Tournament-2019, Under-19 girls was organized by P.S.Senior Secondary School. It was conducted on 21st January 2019 .The tournament drew participation from 9 city schools. The tournament, held in our school campus ground, was inaugurated by Dr. Revathy Parameswaran, Principal. The Valedictory function was held at 2.30 pm.

Suresh, Former FIFA Referee, AIFF -Technical instructor, AFC Referees Instructor & Referee Assessor manager, Referees Development-AIFF, presided over the valedictory function and distributed the prizes. The valedictory function was attended by Shri. R.Sivakumar. Hony.Secy & Correspondent, Dr. Revathy Parameswaran, Principal. PTA Members were also present during the function.
