Rules and Regulations

Note to Parents :

The Management does not permit our teachers to take private tutions for our school students.


Monday to Friday:

Pre-K.G. – 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

L.K.G. – 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon

U.K.G. – 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

CLASSES I to V – 8.50 a.m. to 12.00 noon and 12.20 p.m. to 2.50 p.m.

CLASSES VI to XII 8.15 a.m. to 12.00 noon and 12.20 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.

Pupils should report to school 15 minutes before the commencement of the school.

The school insists on punctuality. Late-coming will be viewed seriously. Habitual late-comers may attract suitable action.


  • Pre-K.G.

For boys, shorts and shirts / T-Shirts with shoes;  For girls, frocks / skirt and blouse with shoes.

  • K.G. & U.K.G

For boys, white shirts with half sleeves and collar, a pocket without flap and navy blue shorts; For girls, blue pinafore over white blouse. Footwear: Black canvas / sports shoes with black socks.

  • Classes I to VII

For boys, white shirt with half sleeves and collar, a pocket without flap, and navy blue shorts. Boys of Class VII and above may wear navy blue trousers. For girls, white shirt with half sleeves and collar, a pocket without flap, and navy blue skirt. Only black ribbon or black hair band should be worn.

Footwear: Black sports shoes with black socks on all days.

On Mondays and on Sports Day: For boys, white shorts/trousers with white shirt on Mondays and House T-shirts on Sports Day. For girls, white skirts with white shirt on Mondays and House T-Shirts on Sports Day.

  • Classes VIII – XII

For boys, white shirt with half sleeves and collars, and one pocket without flap.

Boys must wear trousers only. Girls wear navy blue salwar, white kameez, and white dupatta. Only black hair band or black ribbon should be worn.

Footwear: Black sports shoes with black socks on all days.

On Mondays and on Sports Day: For boys, white trousers and white shirt on Mondays and House T shirts on Sports Day. For girls, white salwar, white kameez, and white duppatta on Mondays and House uniform on Sports Day.

  • Students of classes XI and XII shall have an Epaulet attached to the shirts / kameez. This will be supplied by the school at current cost.
  • Boys of Classes I – XII and Girls of Classes I – VII shall wear the school belt with a buckle carrying the school crest. This will be supplied by the school at current cost.
  • Pupils of all classes from Pre-K.G. should wear identity cards which will be provided by the school at current cost.
  • Pupils should come to school in full uniform, neatly starched and ironed. Each pupil should try to have a minimum of three sets of uniform so as to ensure cleanliness of uniform.


  • No pupil shall be absent without taking prior permission.
  • Application for leave shall be made in advance by the parent or guardian and addressed to the class teacher for a period of 2 days and to the principal for longer period.
  • In case of unforeseen circumstances the application for leave should reach school’s office by 8.30 a.m. on the first day of absence.
  • Pupils applying for sick leave may be required to produce medical certificate.
  • Half-a-day leave: Only half a day leave may be availed. A student may report at 12.00 noon or leave at 12.00 noon. Such permission will be granted only for valid reasons. Half-a-day’s leave application (forenoon/afternoon) duly filled in should be submitted to the school’s office by 11.30 a.m. In such cases, the parent / guardian should accompany the student at the time of reporting / leaving at 12.00 noon.
  • In the case of sudden illness or other unavoidable circumstances, pupils requiring leave for any part of a day should obtain the permission of the Principal in person along with a parent.


  • Every pupil should have a minimum of 75% attendance in an academic year. Classes IX – XII (Ref. CBSE circular)
  • Attendance on reopening days after term and Christmas holidays is compulsory
  • Absenteeism without prior permission on reopening days, and after special holidays like Pongal, Deepavali, and also on the eve of terminal examinations will be viewed seriously.
  • Extra classes and revision exams will be arranged for students of Class XII during the I and II term vacation. Therefore students are advised not to make any plans for holidays. In such cases the parent has to bring the student in person and explain the reason for their absence to the Principal.
  • All students should attend important programmes/functions of the school like the Annual Day, Project Day, Sports Day and any other function as advised. Attendance will be marked on these days.


  • Movement of pupils should be orderly during morning assemblies, P.T. classes, laboratory periods, and computer science classes.
  • To ensure safe movement within the campus, Students should avoid running unnecessarily in the corridor during break time / lunch break.
  • Any pupil found loitering in the school premises during working hours shall be seriously dealt with.
  • Classrooms should not be used for consuming lunch during the lunch break. All remains of food items should be dropped in the waste bins by the pupils themselves.
  • Students should switch off fans/lights in the classrooms when not in use.


The following traffic regulations will be in force in and near the school and students will help in enforcing them. Parents and others are requested to co-operate by strictly observing them.

  1. Cycling within the school campus is not allowed.
  2. Auto Rickshaws/Cars/Vans should not be parked on the approach road to the school.
  3. Vehicles should not be parked in the area of the road opposite the school gate since this will obstruct and inconvenience other vehicles and children coming to the school.
  4. Drivers and other escorts who come to take the children should wait only in the place allotted for them. They should not enter the classes or move about in any other part of the campus.
  5. One-way traffic regulations brought into vogue for the convenience of pupils should be honoured by one and all.


  • Parents are specially requested to see the Calendar daily for any remark or communication from the class teacher and to act on them. Parents are also requested to sign the Homework in the Calendar.
  • No pupil suffering from a contagious disease should be sent to the school until recovery, which should be supported by the Medical Certificate.
  • Parents are requested not to permit the children to carry any money with them other than for specific purposes.
  • Parents are advised not to send individual gifts/cakes for all the students on their child’s birthday. You may, if you wish to, send branded chocolates only.
  • A record of the address and telephone number of the parents / guardians is maintained at the school office. Any change of address or telephone number should be communicated without fail.


  • Students are advised not to wear gold ornaments to school.
  • Pupils must not scribble anything on the walls, furniture or any part of the school premises. Any damage done to the school property intentional or unintentional shall be made good by the Offender.
  • Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to school. Non-compliance in this regard will be dealt with severely. In case they need to call home, they may use the school’s phone facilities. In exceptional circumstances students may deposit the mobile phones at the school’s office and collect the same after the closure of school.


  • All important announcements such as unit tests / exams time table, unexpected holidays, and syllabus for tests / exams will be communicated to parents through the website / circulars / notice board / SMS. Pupils must look at the notice board every day and also take note of announcements made during the Assembly each day.


  • Parents are requested to sign progress reports of their wards on the dates specified in the school calendar.
  • Corrected answer papers of examinations are kept by the school after they have been checked by the pupils. Parents are requested to contact the respective class teachers to see the corrected scripts on the days specified in the calendar.
