P.S. Senior Secondary School organized the P.S. Literary Fest 2022 – a first of its kind from 04/07/2022 to 08/07/2022. The fest aimed at celebrating Literature and Literary Forms and creating an understanding for the need and importance of languages and literature in the students.
Various guest lectures by speakers from, a wide range of fields, screening of plays, puppetry and inter school and intra school competitions were organised.
The Literary Fest was inaugurated on 04/07/2022 by Shri Maalan renowned writer and journalist
The Keynote and guest speakers included:
They spoke on a wide range of topics from English and Tamil Literature.
Cine play “Choodamani” by Madras Players was screened for the students. Puppet show on ‘Education’ by Kalaimamani B. Muthuchandran enlightened the children on the importance of education.
Various intra school competitions such as Fancy Dress, Talk & Act, Radio Show, English Circuit Writing and Villupattu were held for the students of the various levels of the school.
Inter School competitions included Tamil drama on Freedom Fighters, debate in Tamil and the 2nd edition of Rhetoric – The English debate.
Mrs. K. Sumathi, leading advocate and orator was the chief guest at the valediction function on 08/07/2022.She delivered the valediction address and also gave away the prizes.
